We are finally in a position to begin fundraising for an assessment facility for the Barbary macaques confiscated by the authorities in the north of Morocco. Many of these animals can be rehabilitated in wild groups, and we are now looking for funding to purchase 2 hectares of land between our education centre and the forest. This location will be perfect for the integration of some confiscated macaques into wild groups.
