Abderrahim was born in France, where he later studied population biology, ecology and conservation biology. He has worked as a field assistant on projects in South Africa and Japan, and has more recently studied Barbary macaques in Ouzoud, Morocco. During this period, he became interested in Barbary macaque conservation, and now wishes to spread the word about BMAC’s work as he returns to his studies in France.
